HiHiring a coach is a big decision. Before we work together we should try to get to know each other a bit first.
When I was a teenager in small-town Saskatchewan, I struggled a lot with body image, my weight, and my fitness. I went from a provincial level athlete to someone who struggled to maintain her weight, no matter how many crunches I did (I will place most of the blame on my perogy addiction!).
I first became a personal trainer in 2008 (yes, i'm that old), mostly so I could learn how to take care of my body, but was hungry to keep learning. I immediately enrolled in university, where I completed a degree in Sport, Health, & Physical Education. My education focused on intensive courses in biomechanics, nutrition, exercise physiology, anatomy, strength & conditioning...and I loved every minute of it.
I soaked it all in. I worked at the university training facility, I taught spin classes and bootcamps 5x/week. I started training clients and lifting weights. I entered my first bodybuilding (bikini / fitness model category) competition.
I had found my passion.
Flash forward to 12 years later and i'm grateful every day that I get to work for myself and make a living doing what I L-O-V-E. My integrity and passion is reflected in my business success - you'll hear from many local physiotherapists, chiropractors, doctors, massage therapists, and clients to come see me if you want to get results that won't hurt your body.
